He made a controversial decision in the first round of the game, sending Amanda in, despite her warning that nobody would have his back like her. Her words, ultimately, proved prophetic. Cory got sent into a whopping (not Whopper) four eliminations, consistently burned by people he thought he could trust like Josh. But despite his lack of political game, Cory proved his competitive worth in the sand, beating former champs in the process. Cory went into his fourth elimination confident in the improved puzzle skills he displayed all season. But he faltered where he needed them most, tragically losing to Derek and depriving him of yet another opportunity to get the win he's so sorely wanted.
